World Restart A Heart Day

14th October 2021

This Saturday (16th), BCAS Biomed and Source Medical are supporting the British Heart Foundation alongside Nihon Kohden in an educational hands-on charity event for World Restart A Heart Day.

The aim of the day is to educate the public on the importance of First Aid by teaching basic but valuable lifesaving techniques via CPR and use of an AED (defibrillator). Many of you may have seen professional athletes suffering from cardiac events on the world stage, highlighting the importance of basic first aid skills which could one day help to save a life.

Activities for the day:

▪ Lifesaving and first aid techniques, including: CPR training on a dummy and a Defib training tent
▪ Netball matches
▪ Football drills and ‘mini’ matches
▪ Football and Netball Competitions (prizes to be won)
▪ Variety of fitness equipment available for use

The event will take place on Saturday 16th at Kingsmead Netball Centre, Loudwater, High Wycombe from 10:00 – 15:00. We hope to see you there!
