BCAS Biomed work alongside our customers to identify the correct equipment requirements for individual departments based on the staff/patient capacity and clinical service they provide.
Once we have completed a technical audit of the department, we will identify any surplus equipment within departments and produce cost-savings through equipment re-sale and the retiring of equipment to reduce annual maintenance costs.

There are added benefits to performing this activity that include equipment standardisation, reduction of equipment downtime and creation of an equipment library. On the occasions where we identify that more equipment is required within a department, we will utilise our partners to provide competitive procurement plans with the option of a technical evaluation process.
